I have been reading my dearest fanahana's blog archives for some time now. And when I read back, I will tend to giggle or smile to myself.

And I realised we have something in common.
In one of her entries in 28 March 2009, this was what she wrote.

"You're like an Indian summer
In the middle of a winter
Like a hard candy
With a surprise center

And our conversation goes...

Yat: Huh what candy?

Fana: Alah some candies kan got different fillings inside. Then you don't know what flavour it is until you bite the center. So the song is saying that the guy surprises her in a good and sweet way lah.

Yat: Ohhhh macam kinder surprise gitu ahh.

Fana: -__-

I was in a romantic mood and he's thinking of kinder surprise lor. Hahahahha ape kena mengena seh. Had a good laugh because of that."

I was happily chatting with her on gmail reminiscing her previous entries and archives when I mentioned to her.

"It has been some time since you called me D ehh. Cause now in your blog entries you refer me as Yat again. After 4 years plus still call me Yat sehh. At least D sounds special.

Her reply, "LOL. If I refer to you as Y, still special or not?"

Me: -_-"

See the similarities? Sometimes we just can't enjoy sappy and romantic moments and end up making fun out of it. Haha. We will feel sad at first because of the response, but after chewing the things that we said a few minutes later, we laugh. And that's just one of the reasons why we're in love. :)

On a random note, SMRT has planned to finally install half-body size screen doors for MRT platforms. A few stations will be on trial and that includes Yishun. They are 1/4 done with the installation. Let's hope people won't jump onto the railway track anymore. But, since it is only half-body size, they still can jump over that thing like a stuntman. And if that happens, commuters will think that it is stunt for a movie and will applause for the effort. Haha.

But seriously, if Singaporean's brain are still microscopic by trying to prove that they are brave enough to jump over the screen doors, then I think it is time to invent handcuffs to be attached to our hands to a pole or something and will only be released when the train has arrived and come to a halt.

Another one of Yat's great invention.
