NYP Silat moments
Kind of tagged by Shu, but it is something interesting that I shall blog about.

Most memorable words from Abg Nana
- If you want to be a champion, train like a champion. (I didn't become a champion in anything, so I didn't train like one I guess. Sigh. =( )

Most memorable words from Kak Aida
- You all deserve to be overall champions.

Most memorable words from both to me
- Yat, you have the potential to go all the way. Believe in yourself. (I didn't become a champion and I didn't believe in myself. Haiz.)

Most memorable training
- The Silat camp in 2005. It was tiring but fun! The endurance training was great. We needed the mental strength at our utmost best. Even as we were tired, we were cohesive as a unit and we even can laugh and joke after each training. I still think it tops the training u had in 2007 Shu. It was a camp. Means 3 days of straight training and tangga puaka-ing. Hehe =P

Most disappointing moment
- It has 2. One was losing to Redzuan(ex-national) at NP IVP 2005 after I was leading in the first round. After that, it was a disaster. Sorry Abg Nana, I didn't listen to you when you are the cornerman. I still can't get over that loss. Two, when I was in NYP, we didn't win any overall champion.

Most proudest moment
- To be elected as Vice-President and the captain for IVP 2006. I was honoured. Thank you my dear NYP Silat friends.

Most saddest moment
- Not to take part in IVP 2006 on our home ground in NYP. I was called up for National Service during that period and was no more the captain for the team as well. Wasn't informed when NYP became overall champion. I was in camp when they hooray-ed for the win. I was really really upset then. Haiz.

Most happiest moment
- Being there when NYP became champions again in 2007. Great to be there. And part of it. =)

Most shocking moment
- Abg Long aka Yusri going all the way to the finals in IVP 2005 and faced another NYP finalist, Sub.

Most pleasing moment
- Seeing Rad and Nozie working their socks off even though there were conflicting school curriculum and schedules, totally deserved the gold medal for their Ganda. They seriously trained like mad. Like champions, in the words of Abg Nana. Although I wasn't there, stories from the rest are enough to prove it. =)

Most fighting spirit moment
- Continuing my match in IVP 2004 although I was kicked in the face and bleeding from my nose. Couldn't believe I carried on.

Haiz, if I were to go on and on, it will never finish. Haha. But yea, those are most of the NYP Silat moments. But the best moment are the gerek-gerek friends I made from that CCA. Especially Shahrul, Arip, Al, Radiyah, Nozie, Maria, Azrie, Shu etc whom we are still hanging out with when we are free. People like Zainal, Azlina, Mardia, Subhi do have meet ups occasionally(Where are you guys man? Busy sangat ke?Haha.), as well as, my khakis at clubroom, Dina and Dani, Mar, Muhaimin, Izzi, Ipin, Firdaus, Fizah, Danial and so on. There's alot to list! Thank you for the joy people. =)
Oh and of cos, through silat, I met Fana and now, we are together. She is part of the gerek-gerek friends because she is not just my girlfriend but a friend to me too. =) Just like Shu and Azrie, Sub and Izzi, Dani and Syaheed, Azlina and Zainal. And so on. More to come in the future for sure. NYP Silat is like a matchmaking place I tell you. Hehe.

And last, but not least, to Abg Nana. Although you shouted at us, train us like mad sometimes, was harsh on us, I know its all for our own good. I can never ask for a better silat coach than you. You joke around with us, you gave treats to us, you were patient with us too. Thank you. And Kak Aida, although I've never trained under you cos I've never been in seni, I know you trained the Seni Team well. Very well indeed.

I don't know how to repay all that the both of you have done, but I wish I can treat the both of you somewhere nice in the future. The both of you deserve nice treatment from us. Anyone with me, my dear Silat peeps?
