You know, its funny when my used-to-be single friends criticise me vehemently for being with my girlfriend most of the time. When they were single, they will say things like, "Asyik2 dengan matair aje...". But I was like, "Whatever lah. In future, when you have a girlfriend, it'll be pretty much the same." Because you see, I treat my girlfriend as my best friend too.
And I'm right. Now, those who used to be single has a girlfriend and spend most of their time with their respective girlfriends. Bak kata pepatah, what goes around, comes around. Now they understand why. Anyways, this Sunday, there's another soccer match coming up. At Woodlands Ring Sec at 5pm. Hmm the team has been going on an unbeaten streak for 17 or 18 matches. The only blip was the 9-a-side no offside rule that we lost. But hey, when 11 men is on the field, we're still unbeaten. The team has been involved in some fights in recent games. Most notably, the past few games in succession. And Nashriq has been red carded TWICE in a row. But I know the team is better than that. We don't play ugly. We play aggressively. We should let the football do the talking. And of course, its the scoreline that matters. We defend the players where they are not in the wrong. And thats it. Anything other than that, let the referee decides. I admit I've been playing like crap the last few matches. And I promised to work on my weaknesses and play better in the upcoming matches.
