I know this might be a tad too late but who cares. Haha!

5 things I didn't like/hate about 2008:

1) Me going to freaking Brunei.
That was such a hardship! Muddy grounds, torrential pouring rain especially at night, cold-cold atmosphere to sleep in, going up and down the mountains with 35-odd kg(that's half my weight) of things on me, "fighting" useless "wars", crossing stupid river etc. And what did we get in return, an R&R to a shopping centre that looks like Sun Plaza. Oh great.

2) Gaining weight.
Ever since I ORD, I have gained weight like mad!

3) Moving house.
It was such a hassle. My dad could still go to Boyan during this phase and leave things for me and my bro to do. Thanks to the help from my sis-in-law, Shahrul and my darling, we managed to move things to my currently rented room in my aunt's house.

4) Finding a job.
Started with a short stint at Expo and then at Secret Recipe. Part-time which sucked in a way. It would be better if meals are provided you miser Secret Recipe bastards! Secret Recipe ke happe! Other than Tom Yam and the delicious cakes, the others taste like other food at other food outlets. And then there are stupid people who ordered me around. Please hor, I'm not your dog, or anyone's dog. Good thing Fana is working with me. Hehe. And I made a few funny friends as well. Haha.

5) Little, little disagreements here and there.
You know, I know darl. Hehe.

10 things I like/love about 2008:

1) ORD orhhhh!
The best yet feeling of freedom. Even better than freedom from the parentals! Haha!

2) Countless new makan places.
Breeks, Sarpino's Pizza, Simpang Bedok, Eatzi, Sakura.

3) The places we went/attend.
Zoo, Farmart, Sembawang Park, Fort Canning, Danga Bay, Angsana, Secret Recipe's D&D, Bottle Tree Park and SG Flyer.

4) Hangouts with the gang!
Makan-makan, random gatherings, movies, karaoke, bowling, birthday celebrations, sentosa outings, futsal(!!), new year's eve outing, and chalet(!!!). You guys are the bomb! Countless laughing sessions. Love the gang! =)

5) Holiday trips(Short or long).
Genting with her mad friends. Batam with Haya and Fana. Batam again with Fana only.

6) Spending raya with my family and friends.
At last, no weekend duties, no staying in to spend raya with my family and friends. =)

7) Closer bond with her parents(I think?)
Been hanging out at her house a few times last year. Hopefully its all good for the future.

8) Spending time with my dearest Fanahana.
Best of the lot! Ever since I ORD, it is much easier for us to meet up. Ice-cream dates, dessert dates, movie dates, makan dates, shopping dates and much more! Even working at Secret Recipe together with her. Which means spending more quality time together and talking about everything under the sun and about the future. =)

9) Getting a full-time job.
Like finally.

10) My bro and Sri finally got hitched after countless bickerings. Hehe.

And what have I been doing since my last update?
Hung out with the gang on New Year's Eve where we laughed our ass out at Sakura! Sakura was delicious and yummy! Mane tak yummy. Tengok muke Nozie dengan dier nye "Ooooh....marvellous" tak abis2. Haha. Then the walk to City Hall to watch the spectacular fireworks, but not before Anuar describing the offside rule and playing hangman. Haha! Lots of banglas I tell you! Lol.

On Friday, it was a movie date with my muffin. Bedtime Stories is funny and cute. Haha. Followed by a treat from my chop passport bro for my dad and stepmum. Fana was there too. =)

And then a Saturday futsal date with the gang! This time Maria and Shaffinny(Arip's friend) joined in the fun! The way Maria charges at people to get to the ball really scares people! Even me! Haha. Nozie cannot tahan her "aggressiveness" sia. Haha. Fana scored 4 goals seh! And I really think she's good. =) Finny was impressive as well.

I realised I did alot of activities in December. Fabulous end to 2008!

Anyway, I have a clip to show you. Its a 10 seconds to fame. The first part is about terrorism and NS men's deaths. But towards the end, you might just see someone familiar. The last 30 seconds of the clip or so. Do keep a lookout ok? Hehe.
