never walk alone.

Yesterday was my first trip to Geylang with who else, but my girlfriend. Hehe. First thought was to survey the baju kurung for raya. She saw the handouts from First Lady and already had a couple of outfits talking to her. Met in the afternoon and started our spree. Jalan nye jalan I bought something else. Errrr cannot tell. Sorry wak for that moment of spontaneity.

After strolling through the bazaar, we went to First Lady at Tanjong Katong Complex. First week, Geylang already had so many human rummaging through the clothes! Sheeesh. Saw an outift which she liked(and I liked too) and set her eyes on it. Went to the 2nd floor to see whether there are any more outfits which spoke to her but nah, to no avail. So bought the nice light blue baju kebaya and she looked happy. And when she's happy, I'm happy too. =)

Now, its my turn. She's right. Guys' baju kurung is actually easier to find. Not many to choose from. So when we went to 2nd Chance, with a blink of an eye, I bought mine too. Haha. Then she decided not to meet up with her sec sch friends for buka and we went to Fork & Spoon Novena to break our fast instead. That place very chill. Won't be crowded for a breaking fast session. Hehe. Ate there and she suggested to go to town to get raya shoes! Haha! How's that for spontaneity? I think it beats my spontaneity in the day. So off we went to town and searched for the shoes. Went to Far East, the shoe she wanted didn't have her size. Always like that one. The outlet nearest that had it was at Heeren. On the way there, it started to rain! Haha. But we are well prepared and have our umbrellas ready. Walking in the rain with your beloved is always fun! There was one time where the wind was so strong, it literally pushed Fana. And we were like "Ahhhhh!" countless times. Haha. Funny.

Upon reaching there, the pair of shoes had her size and there it was, a wide smile on her face after purchasing it. There's no need for apologies for spontaneity, wak. As long as there's a smile on your face and you're happy, I'm happy too. Looking at you shop and finally buying something you really like puts a smile on your face and mine too. =)

Then ate again at McDonalds. Some light food like fries and Chicken Pie we bought from Polar. Bringing outside food is kind of our forte right now. Haha. Took 190 back to CCK and then sent her home.

It was a fruitful and fun day! Always, whenever with her. And we bought our baju kurung after 1 trip. Don't really need to go there anymore. Yey! Hehe.

And sometimes being the enigma, pays off.
