still unemployed. . .
Firstly, I would like to thank my darl and my friends for the concern shown.
Thanks for giving me encouraging words. After a turbulent week last week, I have officially moved to Yishun. My dad took one whole freaking week to clear all his stuff. Thats just his stuff alone. Sometimes I don't understand him. I mean I understand my dad's character and behaviour and all that, but I don't know why he must be like that. You see, when he was overseas while we were busy packing all the stuff at home, he returned only to be disappointed. Disappointed that we have not cleared his things. But we know if we clear his things, he'll open up the boxes and still search for things that are 10 years old. Like letters from 1998 to 2007. Yes, I'm not kidding you. And if we had kept them already, he'll be livid. And he'll blow his top. Weird, I know. but kinda used to it. But at last, we've finally moved everything on deadline day. It was tiring and full of energy sapping. Thanks to my bro, who took out time to help us out. Although he has been working his guts out. With his tiring shifts, it was really nice that he managed to squeeze some time out to help out. I could see the tired and sleepy looking face. Thanks to my future sister-in-law too for helping out whenever she's free. I appreciate it alot. Without your car, God knows when we will be able to move out. Hehe. And also thanks to Shahrul and my darling for carrying some of my heavy stuff to Yishun. =) And yes, after 1 month plus, I'm still unemployed. Its difficult to look for a job these days. Recently, I saw an article about this one particular lady who emphasises on the need for English speaking staff and customers. Singapore is a multi-racial country and we all know about how the government itself stressed on this global language. What puzzles me is all these advertisements that still requires Mandarin speaking employees. Almost half of them. Like, stop it already. Why not politely tell these customers to learn English instead? Sheesh. Anyways, although I have not been working, I still managed to save up some money through my NS life. And I have been watching quite a number of movies. Just yesterday, I went to JB because we still had some savings from our last trip to JB. So, why not right? Watched Kung Fu Panda and Ayat-ayat Cinta. The titles may rhyme but the storyline is a different matter altogether. One is just funny shit, the other one is emo shit. Luckily I didn't cry for the malay movie. If a movie can make me cry or even nearly tear, it has got to be very very sad. Those who are up for some emotional movie, should watch. But its all about our religion too. On how your faith in your own religion will get you out of any impossible situation. While looking for a job, I think I deserve some fun and enjoyment along the way. Thanks for the karaoke-ing session people! Its always fun! Hidanilson Out. . . |
