never walk alone.

10 years ago, I still remembered when I first moved to Woodlands. This house of mine was quite empty. Only some furnitures, a dvd player and my huge tv(which has been spoilt for 6 years and still in my hall) were on show. There we were, the 5 of us watching a vintage dvd called Titanic. And I could even fall asleep halfway through. I guess the movie was too slow and too much talking until I felt sleepy. I think everybody agrees with me here right? Lol.

Now after 10 long years, I am moving on again. I won't be seeing Causeway Point as much. Instead, Northpoint is the place that I'll face most. Yeap, I am shifting to Yishun temporarily. At my aunt's place. Renting a room with my brother. Because my dad doesn't plan to buy a house anytime soon as the market is high now. He's staying in JB for a while and will make short trips to and fro.

I, on the other hand, is jobless. Unemployed. And not quite yet looking for a job as I'm busy with IVP and the shifting of house. The 2 week stint at Expo is nowhere near enough for me I think. So I'm like a lost chick looking for its mother. I have no choice but to rent a room with my brother.

Which leads me to rant about something.
I know renting a room outside isn't cheap. But this is my aunt I'm talking about. Someone who is of the same blood. Surely she can't charge us much right? But boy was I wrong. She charges us about the same as the others. She even wants a deposit of $400 to add up to the $400 a month payment. And she wants it by this sunday. She think we print money is it? Kepala hotak dier. Its just ridiculous.

If the room is so nicely done with a comfortable bed, takpe jugak. Ni, bilik dahlah macam kandang swine. And like my brother said, "Bau hamis!". Clothes everywhere. And there's her 3 children to stand some more. I mean like what the heck? Kite sedara lagi. And she asks for this amount. Aku dahlah tengah jual anggur. Too much ar. Tak berhati perut langsung.... Last time it was $120 per person. Now, the room getting smellier, she charges us $50 each more. Kepala pants dier ar. Its like the more u take a crap, the more the satisfaction type of feeling..

But I guess I have to suck it up for a couple of months. Once my brother move to his new house and things doesn't get better, I'll scram too.

For now, its bye bye Woodlands.
