It has been a torrid time for me this past 2 weeks.
The moment I'm back in camp, suddenly things keep coming thick and fast.
Like my SISPEC days.
There was live firing.
A useless river crossing.
The route marches.
The gurad duties.
And the COS-es.

I don't understand why we must river cross.
In recent showcases about the army, they keep emphasising on 3G Army.
What 3G army are they talking about when we have to carry heavy ropes from one bank to another bank of the river?
Why show off all the Chinouks and the Apaches when we can't use them to cross river?
Just board the freaking thing and we'll reach the other side of the bank.
Crappy, crappy, crappy.

I have little time for my supergirl now.
And no matter how tired I am, I am trying my utmost best to spend time with her with whatever free time I have.
All I can do is to keep apologising to her that I'm in this state in the army.
In abt 4 months' time I'm gonna ORD.
But each minute that passed, I'm getting more stressed and tired.
I kinda envy those people in Tekong or BCTC or whatever slack unit they received.
Because 2 months before they ORD, they usually have alot of time to clear their leave and numerous number of off days.
But me and those unfortunate ones?
Sad.

But yesterday I had time to kill at Bugis.
The crowds are atrocious.
I thought after the Christmas spendings and the depleted savings of their accounts, there won't be alot off people.
But boy oh boy was I wrong.
It was like a herd of cows waiting to be slaughtered at Bugis Street and the traffic junction.
Its that bad.
But all's good.
We get to eat ice-cream and managed to take cover before it rains.
Luckily we didn't go to Sim Lim or we would be stuck down there.
Haha.

She's happy to have bought her wallet.
And I'm happy she spent on something.
Cos it was her payday.
Haha.
