outfield when raining sux...
As if walking in the rain all drenched outdoor is not a pain in the arse enough.
At least after all drenched, we can head home, have a hot bath and maybe a hot drink too. But if it keeps raining during outfield camps, we can't do anything. We can't run to a shelter. We can't go home. And the worst part is we can't jeopardise our training. So we still train like crazy. And we don't even have time to change our uniform for most of the four days. Because we know that each time we change, there's gonna be a downpour again. Its useless. And its already dark by the time we return to our harbour base area. Throughout the four days, I only changed my uniform once. The next day, it got wet again. On the last day, my body smelt like pee. Well, worst than pee I think. Maybe like a dog's crap. Haha. And all our feets were so wrinkly and smelly too. Smells worst than a garbage. Haha. Yeap, its that bad. And each time a field camp has been concluded, we bathed like half an hour in the shower cubicle. Lol. Just imagining it makes you wanna puke right? Imagine being in that real life situation. I bet you'll shit out of your pants. Haha. But I'm just glad to be back. Because that has to be the worst field camp ever in terms of the weather. When it rains evreyday, it just demoralises and doesn't motivate the soldiers at all. So I hope, before I ORD, I'll have greener field camps. And I'm glad I'm able to contact my muffin again. Every minute in the jungle, I'll think of her. It keeps me going. =) Hidanilson Out.... |
