Hmmm these days people my age are already marrying or engaging.
But I'm still stuck here serving the nation and not certain of what the future holds for me.
Haha.

And, nowadays, tv dramas are portraying alot of married couples and couples who are undergoing engagement.
The just concluded Suria drama Rahsia Perkahwina(Secrets of Marriage) is one of them.
Then recently, the dudette watched a new drama entitled OKB.
Its about this girl - the actress is Awangnit by the way - who wants a very expensive ring for her wedding.
She's a materialistic girl who of course is of high maintenance.
I pity the guy.

But what scares me is the fact that these young couples who tie the knot early in their 20s, or even in their teenage years.
I mean, of course I wanna get married too.
Same applies to the gf, kan wak?
Hehe.
But not in this early young stage.
Like do they know what they are getting into?
Are they making a very hasty decision?
Some of my friends are already engaged and I'm still sucking my thumb down here.
I admit I look at them in awe sometimes knowing that they are very close to each other's family and stuff.
But come to think of it, if we take things slowly and things go very smoothly in the upcoming years, its still not too late to know each other's family to a closer extent.

My ideal age to marry is about 26 years of age.
But even I am daunted at the prospect of me ever achieving that.
If things don't go my way, I might end up being an old bachelor .
Haha.

In my opinion, marriage shouldn't be fulfilled in a rash manner.
It should be based on mutual trust, respect and understanding towards each other and of course the financial aspects of their lives.
And the gal shudn't ask too much from the guy in terms of financial stability.
If the gal truly loves the guy, she will be willing to go through thick and thin with him.
Even when the guy only have enough to lead a convenient, but not rich, life.
Because we don't know what the future beholds.
Why lead such a luxurious and expensive life, when in future they are only going to suffer themselves?
Think deeply about that alright.

And no wak, I'm not going to be a janitor.
Nor a sweeper.
Nor an office cleaner.
And whatever thats related to cleaning.
Hehe.
You know very well that I'm joking right?

I'm going to work hard after I end my torturous spell in the army.
And then get engaged.
And when the time is ripe, get married.
Hehe.
