One more day left to hari raya.
Whee~~!

Last year, I skipped 5 days of the fasting days.
Due to outfield reasons.
Well, it was during field camp okay.
I doubt very few people can tahan.
If I had carried on fasting, I would maybe faint out of dehydration.
So this year round, I didn't skip any.

Which brings me to a point.
In my battalion, most of the riflemen didn't fast.
Well, its because they don't practice that since young due to their wild life and improper bringing up.
But what puzzles me are the commanders.
You see, in an infantry unit, the men look up to their commanders.
We, as commanders in return demand respect from them.
But respect are not meant to be demanded.
We have to earn the respect.
And in my opinion, fasting is one of the ways.
But no, half of them don't fast.

Whenever I come down, they will take a sip of coffee or tea.
Some will gulp down a bottle of drink.
And thats just about 8plus in the morning.
They didn't even break a sweat nor do anything in the morning and there they are disrespecting the others who are fasting.
Some even had the cheek to offer me or the others the food they eat or the drinks they drink.
I'm very disgusted by these behaviours man.
I mean, if you aren't gonna fast, I don't care.
I'm not your mum or dad.
But the least you could do is to eat or drink somewhere private.
Where even the measly ants can't see you.
When we asked "Eh tak puasa?(Eh you never fast?)".
They had the bloody balls to answer, "Haha. Macam biasa jugak(Haha. As usual)".
One of my friend at that point of time answered, "Nasib baik kau bukan adik aku, kalau tak aku dah sepak.(Luckily you are not my brother or I'd have slapped you)".
And I can't agree more.
If that answer had been from my own flesh and blood's mouth, I would slap him/her.

Sigh.
They all have already lost my respect.
But I don't really respect them anyway.
Haha.
Bleagh.

But on a lighter note, this year I'll be able to spend my raya more than last year. No confinements.
And no more booking out on Saturdays.

Anyway, to those I've hurt or inadvertently shoot off my mouth about something bad, I'm sorry.
