AOH is gonna end today.
I went there freaking twice man.
Once was with my recruits, and another time with my muffin, Sally and Abri, on a weekend.
The 1st time, it was plain boring and very depressing because of the torrential rain and everything.
No Super Puma and no Apache.
I also didn't really get to venture the games and get free badges as souvenirs.
And the badges are real priceless.
Literally.
Lol.

And although it was packed, we still had fun didn't we?
The electronic IPPT system was cool.
I tried it out with long sleeves, jeans and sneakers.
And I still managed a RESPECTABLE silver of which the badge that I received I passed it to my beloved one.
Hehehe.
Thats for you beb.
It was a fun outing.

Hmmm, chilling in the Esplanade library is like so peaceful.
Its very quiet and the view is quite spectacular.
It can even oversee the Singapore Flyer, which in due will open on next Valentine's Day.
Oh and the rides has already been sold out by the way.
Like, typical Singaporeans.

Anyway, have any of you ever wondered why people go brankrupt nowadays??
I mean not those poor people living in the streets.
I'm referring to those who are well to do and do have enough to feed themselves.
Its because :

1) They literally spend on food because you know, Singapore is small but the people are growing "fitter and fitter".

2) They are high maintenance.
(They go for expensive MANGO, LEVI'S etc stuff whereas its just the same at THIS FASHION, IP
ZONE)

3) They don't buy insurance.

4) They just don't know how to save bit by bit for rainy days.

5) They don't realise that there are such thing called the Great Singapore Sale.

Hahah.

Lucky for me, I'm a budget type of person.
Not as in I don't eat or don't buy any clothings.
Its just that I buy what I need.
And those that I need, don't really have to be expensive.
I mean for example jeans.
Jeans are jeans.
Most of them are kind of the same.
Even if you wanna go for the brand, go for it once in a while.
Not always.

Because life is unpredictable.
You'll never know when you'll be in a difficult plight.
And do you wanna live your life borrowing money from other people(friends, relatives, colleagues etc) and then when they come knocking on your door to retrieve back their money, you go into hiding from one place to another?
No, I don't think people wanna live their lives like that.

Fortunately for me, my other half share the same sentiments on this spending thing.
Heheh. =)

Man, tomorrow is my last bookout.
The next one is on the 15th Sept.
By the time, its fasting month already.
My 21st birthday is just 9 days away.
The recruits' field camp is 4 days away.
Crap, stress coming.
