new unit...
So after a long and tiring 3 weeks of training in Taiwan, I'm back once again.
Well, actuali onli about 2 weeks of training.
The last week was like a holiday trip with shopping and non-stop walking around.
Ahakz.

So the training in Taiwan wasn't that bad.
Its sleeping at night that made it a very sour affair.
The weather at night is so cold that if you leave a raw meat or fish there, it won't turn bad.
Haha.
But seriously, there was once when the coldness reached a low 5 degrees celsius.
And I wonder how we could still sleep, out in the jungle some more, for those nights.
Of course, we still woke up in between.
And eating combat ration when its hot tastes so much better.
And sometimes when we cook during our meals, it looks as though we were having a campfire.
Lol.

But during R&R, i think we really enjoyed ourselves to the fullest.
We shopped, ate seafood like as though we've never eaten seafood our entire life, we slept in a cosy hotel room and saw how Taipei City looks like.
But sad lahhhh...everything also in Chinese.
I can only speak abit of their language, but reading it?
Ermmm, maybe in a million years' time when 3G will become 100G?
Ahakz.
Yea but it was fun having the company of my army mates.
Fun people to be with.

Back in Singapore, I received a surprise from Supergirl.
There she was smiling at me widely when I reached Singapore.
And that smile is what I have missed so much in Taiwan.
It brought comfort to me and it diminshed my jet-lag and tiredness.
I could even afford to go out and watch a movie with her after a short rest at home.
Heehee.
Thanks for that.
And thanks for updating my blog for me, although its not exactly the entry I was hoping for.
Haha.

2nd year anniversary (08/02/07)
This has to be the best surprise I've given her to date.
Thanks to the mad girls.

I was in Taiwan and I'd already pass the gift to one of them.
But the way they surprised her, it impressed me alot.
Sorry darl, that they had to surprise you that way.
But I hope you love the surprise and the gift.
And sorry that I had to be in Taiwan during this wonderful date of ours.
=)

And thanks for the gift you gave me when I got back.
Niceeeee~~

POP (14/02/07)
It has to fall on Valentine's Day doesn't it?
Haha.
Like as if it has anything to do with v-day.
We don't celebrate v-day anyways.
But yea, thanks for being the only one present at my POP.
Kalau tak, saper lah nak bukak my velcro dgn violent macam gitu kan kan kan?
Hehehehe.
The parade didn't have a glitch I think.
And from my point of view, I think the parade was very well done.
We only took 2 days to rehearse and everything went so smoothly.
Every senior rank personnel greeted us with "Great parade!" or "The parade was well executed!".
And I felt satisfied.
Because the 2 days was very tiring.
We rehearsed for almost 10 hours with only lunch and dinner break in between.
Everyone got their face sunburnt! With a line on our forehead that was caused by the beret.
And the best part was when we stripped Golf company's pants off when we did the Delta Wall Cry at the last part.
I literally saw their jaw dropping all the way to their crotch area.
Wahahaha.
Cool-ness!

So yeap, I am now a 3SG.
3rd sergeant that is.
As the rank gets higher, the expectation gets higher too.
Ermmm, and so does the pay.
Hehe.
But its gonna be tough being a sergeant too.

Posting (15/02/07)
Thought I was gonna be posted to BMTC.
But no, going to 2 SIR instead.
Wonder how unit life is going to be.
Hmmmmm. . .

Ok I've managed to summarise everything.
But if any of you have any questions, just give me a tag or call me.
Haha.

Waiting for dudette finishing work then.
Which is like in 3 hours' time.
Heehee.

Sentosa outing tomorrow!
Wheeee~~
But no wheee because I'm only gonna get darker.
