Ubin is such a peaceful place to be in.
Went there last Tuesday and it was nice to witness that there is still a kampung type of land around. And cycling has never been a painful journey. Ahakz. I received a surprise call from one of my NYP friends. He wasn't that close to me. In fact, he wasn't close to me at all. Just a normal hi-bye friend. Lecture mate to be precise. But he called me up a couple of days ago. I was puzzled for awhile before I picked it up at the eleventh hour. He told me he received his NS call-up and was wondering whether I had already received mine. I was baffled. I took some time to answer that I didn't receive anything YET. The more astonishing part is that he's enlisted on the 8th of June. And adding on, he claimed some of his friends have already received it too. So okay, he is already going to enter NS soon. And I'm sweating on mine. Hmmmm, but if he is going on the 8th of June, and maybe my own letter is delayed, that means my World Cup dream is over. Not playing in any country of course. World Cup dream in terms of watching and witnessing the aniticipated matches. But that is just a side dish. Whats more important is the IVP. I'm just afraid it'll clash. Because I've been training quite vigorously for it. Although not as vigorous as last year, but still vigorous. This will be my last year participating in it. And before I end my ties with the NYP Silat Team, I want to achieve something this year. I tell myself everyday, ever since I freaking lost in the first round last year, to not be booted out in the first round ever again. Whether I'll be up against an ex-national player, a national player, an average player like me or even a rookie. Mental strength is what I lacked last year. So please, let me finish my unfinished business before being enlisted. Please. . . . Hidanilson Outz. . . To keep pleading. . . |
