Anugerah concert on Saturday was great!
Although I'm not a fan of them, they sang well.
Guess they are N'Sync fans cos they started the song from them, and ended the song from them also. Ahakz.
Bumped into my mum!
Weird aye. . .
Didn't even know my mum was going.
Hurhur.

Back to reality.
As hard as I prayed/begged, the nightmare for me has come true.
A couple of days after my previous entry, duty calls and beckons.
Upon reaching home, my dad passed me the last letter that I could ever want.
The NS letter.

Its not that I'm afraid to be enlisted in NS because its a must and I should be prepared for it.
Its not that I'm intimidated by the tough physical training.
And its not that I hate to serve the country.
Its for one reason, and one reason only.

IVP.

You see, I've been training for nearly a year now after the last IVP.
I've been sweating like mad in each and every training.
I've always tried to be strong mentally no matter how tired I am.
Even when I was working 2 part-time jobs, I still told myself not to miss the weekly trainings at least.
And I did just that.
And I achieved that I think.
Although I do miss the weekend trainings a few times, I tried to find time to go for the weekday trainings.
But what do I get in return?
A freaking NS letter that stated I'm enlisted on the 7th of July.
Just ONE day before IVP.
Haiz. . . .

So after all that, I can't participate in the IVP.
I can't prove to my dad that I have what it takes.
That is not all.
Its not that bad if I couldn't participate in it.
But I can't even watch the action.
I can't spur my fellow pesilats on.
I can't join them in the cheers.
I can't feel the atmosphere as we are the hosts for this year's IVP.
I can't be their cornerman.
And lastly, I can't be their captain.
All these are what disappoint me most.
