watch the words. . .
So Man United won.
Whats the big deal? Its just Carling Cup. Used to be called a worthless cup back in the days where Worthington sponsored the competition. Why is it a worthless cup?? Its because in previous rounds, you'll only witness some unfamiliar and unrecognized names on the team sheet. So nuff said. And based on Wigan's topsy-turvy form lately, it is of no surprise that they were beaten resoundingly. Although I anticipated a cracking and open match. Anyways, these days people are straightforward and direct with their comments. Negative comments especially. And when the receiver expand their ears to be exposed to those comments, sensitivity tends to creep in. I, for instance, don't create a scene after being at the receiving end of these comments. But what puzzles me is this. The comments are so direct that it may lead to hurting that individual. Yah I agree that people must be honest with themselves. But lets give a couple of examples, shall we? Example No.1 Your friend who is into alot of makeup on her face. . . "Eh your face got too much make up lah. . .Macam hantu you know. . .It looks so ugly. . ." Thats abit too harsh isn't it? Whereas you can say something like this, "Hey, you know, maybe if you don't put too much make-up on, you'll look just as fine. No offence ya. Just a suggestion." Sounds nicer, doesn't it? Example No.2 Or lets say you go for a haircut. . . Its bad enough if the haircut isn't according to what you have expected it to be. . . "What telah happen to your hair??!! I hate ur hair man! Seriously, I hate it!" Whereas something like this would be music to the ears, "Hey, I like your previous hairstyle better. This hairstyle is kind of unsuitable for you. . ." Example No.3 You are really very loud-mouth. Blabbering away non-stop. Laughing like there's no tomorrow. Whining and complaining. Imagine if your friend talks to you like this, "Oi. . .You don't know how to shut up ar. . .Always whining and complaining. . .Its freaking irritating ya know!" But instead your friend is so nice and calm that he/she approaches you this way instead, "Hey. . .I'm not trying to imply anything ar. . .But maybe sometimes you can tone down that voice of yours. . .You know, maybe you can adjust your volume lower or something. . .Hehe. ." Adding a laugh or two will certainly help. Conclusion: Yah, its good to be honest. Honesty is the best policy, yes. But when it comes to words, be extra careful. We can twist our words. It doesn't necessarily have to be too direct. Oh yah. . . Happy 24th birthday to Ayul! Oh my. . .He's 24 and doesn't even have a girlfriend! And he still looks like an 18 year old. Damn I'm jealous! Hahah! Have a great day ahead bro. Studying that is. . . Lol. Hidanilson Outz. . . |
