folks rule the tv. . .
Here is what happened when I'm usually watching tv.
So here I am watching soccer or whatever my favourite tv programs are. My eyes glued on the screen. Trying my utmost best not to be distracted. And just concentrate. Then all of sudden I heard a bunch of keys outside. I said to myself, "Damn hopefully its not my dad!" But lady luck usually does not smile on me that often. Apparently, lady luck has something against me only in this particular predicament. So I hope I'll be heaving a huge sigh of relief. Wondering to myself whether he'll be fatigue enough to rest in his room. Whether he'll disturb my peace watching tv. Usually he'll step into his room, lock the door and yadda yadda yadda. Phew. . . He's not disturbing me. So I happily continued glue-ing my eyes on the screen. I glanced at the clock, and the show still has a long way to go. Then, once again the sudden effect took place. I heard the unlocking of his bedroom door. I was like, "Shit! He's coming out! He's surely going to disturb me and rule the tv!". I resented to fate. The next time I knew, he was already beside me switching channels and flicking screens. Bleargh. . . I hate it when that happens! Seriously I need another SCV set-top box in my room! When things get boring on Mediacorp, I can only depend on SCV to entertain me. The folks, especially my dad, always seem to hog the tv. I envy those parents who turn in early at night. By then, their children will put a huge smile on their face and rule the tv. Some can even afford to doze off. I can't seem to enjoy my dosage of favourite programmes. There's always an intervention in between. Oh wells, parents will always be parents. Hidanilson Outz. . . Feeling Pissed. . . |
